Suzuki Burgman VS TVS N-Torq

Hello & Welcome to Carwahi.

Young generations are planning to buy a scooter that is not only comfortable but also have a sporty looks to feel jealous to their biker friends, I'm comparing two to new collection of the scooters which has all the required features for this gen.

Suzuki globally produces scooters in name of Burgman ranging from 125 to 600 cc motors, Suzuki recently launched its new scooter in the Indian market that's the Burgman 125.

Talking about the TVS, after the launch of their BMW engine combo RR 310 with all the new features from cooling the engine to the deadly looks they've launched their new scooter N-Torq with a newer engine & all the modern features.

Comparison begins here :

ENGINE: Both are powered by the 125 cc Single Cylinder OHC engine. N-Torq has a slight advantage over the Burgman on power as Burgman produces about 8 PS of power whereas N-Torq has 9.5 PS. Torque is same in both of 10.2 Nm. Now, drivability of the Burgman is under-powered as due to the over-body claddings all-around & also due to same engine in Access-125, it looks powerful but it is not whereas the N-Torq has a good power to weight ratio which makes it more fun to drive.

LOOKS: Personally in one line, I didn't liked the looks of the Burgman. Why is Suzuki making 2-wheeler's with bulky looks & under-powered engine power?  N-Torq has a very clean & sporty appeal to the front as much as young gen wants with the black & red combo & red linings all around the body.

COMFORT: In this context I'll give a 5-star rating to Burgman, as it has a wide seating area, not too soft & not too hard which'll give a commanding position n the road ahead. But the N-Torq is having a stiffed seating & the under-support area is not so up to mark. N-Torq excels in the under-the-seat carriage dept. as it has provided charging socket for the phones & other electronics & a LED light for the convinience. For the easiness N-Torq do have an external fuel filling which the Burgman doesn't have, which is kind of sad for Suzuki buyers.

BRAKE: The stopping power of the N-Torq is way better than the Burgman as it TVS has provided it with the disc brake at the front & Burgman is still continuing with the Standard Drum brake system, which will effect the over all performance of the scooter.

FEATURES: The TVS N-Torq is full on features like from bluetooth connectivity to engine temperature gauge in the instrument cluster. With the bluetooth connectivity you can connect your phone directly with the scooter in which the instrument cluster will display the incoming calls, text messages & other stuffs which is kind of cool thing in today's modern day world. But the Burgman misses out some of these, the instrument cluster only displays the time, speedometer, fuel meter & trip meter.

Ending my comparison review of these two market capers right now in the scooter department. Talking about the Price, Burgman is priced around 70,000 INR & N-Torq is priced around 65,000 INR, this means that the N-Torq has more value for money interms of design, comfort, features & performance.

Hope you all liked it.
