Hyundai Creta 2018 review

Hey guys, Welcome back to Carwahi
➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤➤

The car I'm gonna review is the Hyundai's premium crossover Creta.

Hyundai released it's crossover in 2015 in India & a face-lift version has recently been unveiled in 2018.

The Hyundai Creta face-lift is priced from Rs. 9.44 lakh all the way up to Rs. 15.03 lakh. The face-lift version is much needed to the premium crossover/compact SUV considering the sales of this car averaging about 10,000 units/month

Has the Creta face-lift improved from its predecessor model, Let's have a look at the list:

➤  FEATURES : Talking about the features on-offer by Hyundai, it gets Six-Ways Power Adjustable driver seat, Electric Sun-Roof, Cruise Control, 7" Touch Infotainment System with Mirrorlink, Andriod Auto, Apple CarPlay & Segment first Wireless charging pad, isn't that a tech thing, HATS OFF! Hyundai.
Whereas the ABS, EBD & Dual Airbags are Standard in their line-up.

They have also introduced to two new color schemes such as Passion Orange & Marina Blue, in reality they looks awesome as they'r also more reflective than other colors.

➤ ENGINE : Hyundai kept the engine untouched as the petrol & diesel engines are still offering with same power & torque as the previous gen. More efficient engine is the 1.4L Petrol as it expels out 89 bhp of Power & 133 Nm of torque, whereas the 1.6L Petrol produces 121 bhp & 151 Nm of Peak Torque.
The 1.6L CRDi produces 126 bhp & 260 Nm of torque on offer. The diesel engine tends to get loud post 4000 rpm as the low-end lag is very much well contained in this engine. But you can't get the kick-in-the-pants feel with this engine.

➤  EXTERIOR :  Although there hasn't been any dramatic changes to the exterior. Yes, they have made some changes which gives the car more upmarket & modern look. The front gets Hyundai family's new trending Chunky-cascading grille which makes the car more bolder from the front.
Headlights have been re-constructed to a more slim version of it changing the position of the DRLs at the bottom, beside the slightly smaller Fog-lamps.
The bumper has been revamped which now gets a skid plate at the front to give a off-road sense.

SIDE PROFILE : The changes that you'll notice is the newly designed 17" machine cut alloys & are restricted to the top trim variant only. As you closely notice on the windows, they'r slightly re-modified from the previous gen.

INTERIOR : The interior has been slightly tweaked to give it a more premium appeal as the seat cushioning has been improved & dashboard now in light-colored beige with the soft plastics. The top trim SX+ gets all black interior with orange trims, that is something cool, isn't it?

BOOT : Noticing the boot you'll realize, the back-lights have been re-shaped to more stretched version & with improved clarity. The rear bumper have also been revamped as the reflector housing is modified to an all-around black treatment. But the boot space is still the same of 400 L that's enough for long highway trips.

So, the Conclusion is that the face-lift version of Creta is bit pricey deal but it can be considerable looking at the features it offers with the premium looks in interior as well as at the exterior & a Hyundai badge. It has a great built quality of rating 4 NCAP performed crash test.

SAYONARA, TAKE CARE READERS.
