      So, topic for today is all about the TATA's famous all new compact-SUV that's the TATA NEXON. Yes, it has been promoted in the latest Vivo IPL 2018 season.


              Tata's new design language which has been implemented in their new line-up is sort of booming the Indian market, for example Tata Tiago & Tata Tigor, all are of new design from Tata & it seems that the sales are good enough to mark these cars successful. 

              Let's give it a warm start to review of Tata Nexon compact-SUV. I'm breaking all the aspects in the form of points down below. Well, it is a sub-4 meter compact-SUV.

♕ ENGINE : Engine is the heart of any car either big or small, if the engine isn't much efficient & powerful, the car sales may be affected.
                          Tata Nexon is powered by a 3-cylinder 1.2L Revotron (Petrol) Engine & 1.5L Revotorq (Diesel). Both the engines are Turbocharged & that's a cool thing Tata has made.
The Petrol engine expels out 108 bhp of Power & 170 Nm of Torque.
Whereas the Diesel engine expels out 110 bhp of Power & 260 Nm of Torque, a well-contained turbo-lag engine.

BUILD QUALITY : Tata has done a splendid job making the car safe, as it uses the new X-1 platform. The crash-guard is well designed.
The doors shut with a Thud, which also explains the built quality.

EXTERIORThe front profile is either love it or hate it.

FRONT : First thing that you'll notice is the classy hexagonal shaped vents & below that it has a chrome line running from one end to another which resembles a smile basically, In-fact every Tata cars have this.  
The top-of-the-line variant offers Projector Headlamps with DRLs & Fog Lamps all arranged in Tata's typical design, I mean you can make it as Tata. 

SIDE-WAYS : Talking about the side-ways of the car, you'll notice the flared wheel-arches which houses 17" tires & the design of the alloys is done very precisely to give it a premium look. 


There is a thick white-line which starts from front door sill & goes all the way to the boot forming a "X".
The door-handles are well put together, doesn't feel cheap or after market.

BOOT : It is a clean design with small back-lights. In-order to make the car more sporty appeal, a rear spoiler is also being included. The boot has 350 L capacity of luggage storage, which is decent considering the size of car.


INTERIOR : Now comes the interior where you'll spend most of the time. 

INFOTAINMENT : The first impression of the interior is the 7" Infotainment system which is a LCD Touch Screen with all the features like Apple CarPlay, Andriod Auto, Navigation System & Reverse Parking Camera that is a need for every car to have.


SEAT : The seat cushioning are of surreal quality & also the most comfortable with ample of Leg Room, Head Room as well as good Under-Thigh Support. But seating 3 at the back is bit tough as due to transmission panel intrusion in center.
For the convenience Tata has provided an A/C vent for the rear passengers.
The door windows are big enough, so no point of feeling claustrophobic inside.

UTILITY : Tata has provided ample & ample of spaces at the front as well as in the rear. Twin cup holders at the front & big door-pockets to house a-liter bottle & interesting fact, this is the first in it's segment, an umbrella keeper in the driver's door which is kind of a unique touch, I guess ?



The glove-box is really deep inside, I mean you can fit-in a laptop inside, it also has cup-holders, pen-holders & secret space to keep stuffs. 



In-order to conclude, this car is safe, efficient, powerful & price is well-put by Tata, this Nexon is the most value for money. As you know the reliability of Tata car's, hence this is no exception.
